Sohar Aluminium was the grand sponsor of Rally Oman 2011 celebrations held in the Butterfly Hotel at Sohar on 24, 25 February 2011, and organised by the Oman Automobile Association in co-operation and support with Royal Oman police.

Mr Saeed Al Badai - HR Manager at Sohar Aluminium was to perform the official flag off at 4.30 pm. on Thursday along with Brigadier Salim Ali Al Maskiry, Director of Oman Automobile Association and Chairman of Rally Oman organising committee.

Al-Badai stated that Sohar Aluminium is pleased to sponsor this event as it encourages the safety driving issues and raises awareness amongst all people, especially Omani youths to follow the safety rules when driving vehicles on and off roads.
