“As Oman launches its ninth five-year plan and the transformational impact of the Sultanate’s long-standing drive for diversification boosts economic development and international competitiveness, we want to build on the success of Omani non-oil exports in 2016 that reached US$6.2 billion,” noted Said Mohammed Al Masoudi CEO of Sohar Aluminium. “This economic evolution is underpinned by a pro-business government outlook, investor friendly legal framework, world-class infrastructure, a skilled and multi-lingual talent pool, and access to the booming markets of Asia and Africa. In short, this creates a particularly dynamic context for ARABAL 2017 and we are excited by its potential to stimulate further growth in our industry.”
