The Sohar Aluminium Basketball Team won the 6th season of the Seeb Basketball League (SBL) championship in the final match played in November 2013.

What makes this victory even more special is the fact that the SA team participated in this league for the first time and on its way to the championship defeated many teams who have been playing for a number of years, thus establishing itself as a powerhouse amongst Corporate Basketball teams.

The 6th season of the League began in June 2013 and since then the team had been regularly playing matches on Fridays at Seeb Sports Club, Muscat, eventually advancing to the finals where they overcame CCC to win the championship.

With this victory the SA team has added another wonderful achievement to SA’s long list of successes!
