As part of field visits to key service sectors in the governorate, and supporting the education sector, His Excellency Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, visited today Al Batinah International School (ABIS) in the Wilayat of Sohar and met with its administrative and academic staff and students. Upon his arrival at the school premises, His Excellency was received by the school's Board Members, the CEO of Sohar Aluminium, a representative from OQ, and the School's Head.

The visit included a presentation about the school, its academic programs, accreditations, facilities, and activities and services provided to the students. The presentation also highlighted the school's great achievements since its establishment, which have earned it a prestigious status in the region’s private education sector.

After that, His Excellency the Governor of North Al Batinah toured the school facilities, which have been designed according to the highest international academic standards to ensure an outstanding learning environment that stimulates students' academic achievement and creative thinking.

On the occasion of the visit, Mr. Dominic Robeau, Head of the School, expressed the pride of the students, administrative and academic teams on this occasion. He said, "We are delighted today to host His Excellency the Governor among his sons and daughters, the students at the school. This visit will undoubtedly have a positive impact on all of us in terms of our pursuit of academic excellence, and development and growth, as we strive to provide our students with internationally recognized programmes and curricula of high quality. This will positively reflect on the future generations in the Sultanate of Oman as we always focus on providing opportunities for our students to learn, explore, and unleash their self-creativity, so that they become the future leaders of Oman."
