Sohar Aluminium Company L.L.C (SA) and South Al Batinah Municipality, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support funding the purchase and supply of kiosks and food cabins for Barka Waterfront Project.

Eng. Bader bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Director General of the South Al Batinah Municipality, stated, “The impact of this support will contribute to creating an attractive recreational destination for visitors, supporting local economic and tourism activities in the Wilayat of Barka, and undoubtedly enhancing the quality of community life in South Al Batinah Governorate. This aligns with the national priorities of Oman Vision 2040 in the areas of welfare and social protection, as well as the strategic direction to support the tourism sector”.
